about
In early 2013, the band hit the Osiander studio again to complete the "Motions" series. The result was the single "Fear and Love", which shows the band's talent in utilizing a variety of styles in the song (pop, electronic, and rock).
lyrics
I look out to the sea, captured by mystery and all the secrets it hides.
I opened up the door and see what I saw before.
What a mess we're in.
Time can't stand still anymore like this.
Years will come and go, my love.
A path laid out for you, because it's a beautiful world.
I've said it all before, but I'll try once more, not taken by the result.
A tear runs down her face, she turns and leaves this place.
This is all my fault.
Time can't stand still anymore like this.
Years will come and go, my love.
A path laid out for you, because it's a beautiful world.
I will never forget. That you're running away.
You're home from the long road, where she let go of you.

I'm a longtime fan of all of Jessy Ribordy's music and writing. He's an extraordinary artist.
This album is a fascinating look into the creative process of this band, and it's cool to imagine how some of these tracks factored into the process of finding the sound for the main TRE album.
I'm really glad to hear some of these tracks, and I wish there was more TRE to come. joshuabond
From L.A. comes the latest from post-rock outfit bondo, with tendrils of spindly guitar snaking through arid percussion. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 4, 2023

My favorite Falling Up album by far! Love the musical creativity and originality, combined with beautiful lyrics and vocals. Can't stop listening! annavdbrink
